At Fiera Milano Rho, from February 25 to 27, Lineapelle (the world’s leading business experience for the fashion, luxury, and design supply chain) hosted the second edition of the exhibition project dedicated to furniture, featuring 37 companies and presenting 19 exclusive installations.
LINEAPELLE (the world’s leading business experience for the fashion, luxury, and design supply chain) presented the second edition of LINEAPELLE INTERIORS, its exhibition project dedicated to the integration of leather and materials with furniture. Floors, walls, tables, chairs, screens, sofas, children’s rooms, and bathrooms were showcased to promote, enhance, and implement the innovative excellence of the supply chain in the interior design sector.
LINEAPELLE INTERIORS was created to foster collaborative connections with the world of design and architecture, both in Italy and internationally, through styling initiatives and product development.
“Our event,” explains Gianni Russo, President of Lineapelle, “is a model of Design Economy, conceived and strongly desired to support the sector and help design companies become more competitive.”
The synergy between Italian leather manufacturers, innovative materials, and top design firms was showcased in a 1,000-square-meter space within Pavilion 24 of LINEAPELLE. Here, 19 installations illustrated the evolution of a dialogue that opened new pathways in interior design.
“The exceptional quality of Italian leather, with its inherent value,” remarks Fulvia Bacchi, CEO of Lineapelle and General Director of UNIC – Concerie Italiane, “becomes a source of inspiration for architects and designers.”
The installations debuting at Rho Fiera were the result of collaborations between 37 companies in 19 pairings, where an Italian manufacturer of leather and other surface materials engaged in dialogue with a design studio, including international firms.
“The transformation of Made in Italy semi-finished products into design pieces,” explains Maurizio Molini, Creative Director of Lineapelle Interiors, “helps to communicate their value, amplifying their international appeal. From the conception of new products to the identification of new markets, research and creativity are the intangible infrastructure of the Italian Design Economy: a system supported by a manufacturing business culture and a strong educational network, both capable of attracting talent on a global scale.”
The result is a collection of projects that highlight technological and application-based innovations in leather and materials, offering a fresh perspective on interior design solutions waiting to be discovered.
